We wanted to share some recipes inspired by the movie that Disney sent us to try. Food is a big component throughout the Raya movie to bring people together. These Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon inspired recipes are delicious. To celebrate we partnered with Disney on Omsom to bring you some amazing recipes. All opinions are my own.ĭisney’s Raya and the Last Dragon is out tomorrow in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access. And the druun is dumb. This post for Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon inspired recipes is in partnership with Disney. Also why did he throw Raya over the bridge after running down it halfway on a bum leg? As soon as he saw the druun hated water I would of ran in there, this dude making the heroic sacrifice for his kid when he could of just got in the water. Was dad really just standing on the bridge waiting for Raya to return? They showed a time lapse and when they finally get to Raya returning home, he's still there. "You're as much to blame for sisu's death as I am" bitch Raya finally trusted you and you pulled a crossbow out, then you pulled the trigger before Raya tried to stop you. Namaari is probably the worst human to ever exist in a cartoon. Her last word to namaari were "I trust you" right before being shot in the heart, speaking of. The dragon sounds like the druggie red headed lesbian from orange is the new black, in a bad way, too trusting of people even when she gets proven wrong over and over again. But I found that the story engaged me plenty and I felt rather invested in the squads endeavors throughout. The flaws for me stems mostly from the overly formulaic/overused way of the telling basically the same story in basically the same way as always, which is perfectly fine for the kids, but can feel pretty tiresome for adults who has seen the "unexpected hero and his/hers/its gang saves the world' plot plenty of times. I find it all rather ridiculous to be honest.

Sure it's full of predictable clichés and 'the hero's journey' story element, but what Disney movie isn't full of those? The movie also seem to rub against the woke crowd slamming it for stereotyping. They slam the movie, calling it boring, flat, predictable, unrealistic (lol!) and whatnot. I went to Imdb to give it a 8/10 and got to read some of the reviews. In many ways it's a beautiful (the scenery and characters looks gorgeous) analogy of the challenges we as a species are facing regarding climate change and they managed to wrap a very nice story around it. I honestly had a fantastic time watching 'Raya and the Last Dragon' and even got very emotional more than once watching it.
